Having been an educator for eight years, I still find my first graders to be inspirational, humorous and energetic. Everyday is an adventure with them.
When my children all headed off to school in 2004, I decided to do the same and create a career for myself. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life. I have learned and continue to learn so much from the six year olds I teach, the colleagues both in my building and across the country, and the times I’ve stumbled along the way. Everyday I do my best to learn and improve on my chosen profession.
I enjoy using and teaching technology to both children and adults. While my first graders are my priority, I have assisted in professional development in my building based on technology tools that are required and those that are just useful and interesting for my fellow educators.
